How It Happened
Long distance was how it all started. It wasn't easy, but it also meant we couldn't do anything but openly communicate constantly. We also bonded over games, anime, and our mutual hobbies.

Fun fact: this was taken on our first physical date, a few days after we moved in together.
π€ Viv and Miguel Become Friends (but not for long)
Through our shared friend group, we met for the first time onlineβbut it was on this day that we became actual friends and started talking regularly. Miguel slid into Viv's DMs, and the conversation just flowed from there.
π©ββ€οΈβπ¨ Our Relationship Becomes Official
While Viv was walking around a mall in the Philippines, and Miguel was in the middle of a layover in Amsterdam, we decided to try building a future together. We joked about being cat parents together, and somehow, everything that came with that also felt right.
π©ββ€οΈβπβπ¨ We Close the Gap
When we saw each other at the airport, we immediately embraced and went on as we normally are with each other. There was no awkwardness at all, surprisingly. Once Viv settled in, we shared a plate of cheese fries and burgers. What a way to celebrate our new beginnings!
π It's Official, We Got Engaged
Before this day, it was already on our minds for some time. After discussing if we were ready, we immediately started ring shopping and got engaged a few days later. Viv came home from school and Miguel got down on one knee, scaring the living daylights out of her. She didn't say no, though.
π We Got Married
We've always wanted to have this part of our wedding to be private. We thought, why wait? So we found a date that we (read: Miguel) liked and got on with it. Cue the tear-filled vows. Fun fact: Viv cut class to get married. She says it was worth it!
